Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. PC Moment uses very few, and only the analytics cookies need your permission. You can change your choice at any time with , also available in the footer of every page.

If you decline analytics cookies, Google Analytics doesn’t store cookies and only receives signals without identifiers (Google Consent Mode). If you withdraw consent you gave earlier, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

We also use Umami, hosted on our own server. It doesn’t set cookies or store anything on your device and doesn’t collect data that identifies you, so it doesn’t need your consent.

Our site doesn’t set Amazon cookies. If you click an affiliate link, Amazon.com may use its own cookies on its website to attribute the purchase, under its own cookie policy.

When you click an Amazon link, Google Analytics records an affiliate_click event (which box or button you used and the product name). It follows your analytics choice above, like every other page view.

Local storage

Our articles store two small preferences in your browser’s storage, with no personal data: pcm-sticky-closed (session storage, deleted when you close the tab) remembers that you closed the product bar at the bottom of the page, and pcm-exit-popup (local storage) remembers when you last saw the “Before you go” box with our picks, so it doesn’t show again for 7 days. Both are needed for the features to work as you chose and aren’t used for tracking. You can delete them by clearing your browser’s site data.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). If you block all cookies, the site still works, but we’ll ask for your choice again on each visit.
