Amazon Web Services
Amazon today is the absolute leader in cloud computing, primarily for businesses.
It offers several packages for the most varied processing needs of the market:
Databases, file storage servers, processing, video conversion/encoding, access control (Firewall), machine-learning, reports, data flow processing.
The list does not end here, and reaches over 35 different applications and offers, with solutions for small, medium and large companies.
There is also a service for individuals, Amazon Cloud, where for $ 59.99 a year it is possible to have unlimited space to store any file.
Google has long gone beyond search.
The company that, among many options, already offers free email accounts through Gmail, also has the Google Drive cloud service, which guarantees a 15GB account at no cost for home users, who, if they want to have more space, they can hire plans starting at $ 1.99 per month.
For companies, Google offers two different types of services:
A plan dedicated to professionals and teams who want to have access to Google Drive, Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Forms and Hangouts,

When to migrate to the cloud?
Many companies today are born without a single physical server of their own.
Everything is already stored in the cloud, in some global Data Center, being replicated in another physical location.
The advantage of this model is that it can invest in expansion as its demand also increases.
Other companies have decided to migrate some more common applications to the cloud, such as the email or web server, as these applications are the simplest to migrate.
Many Data Centers offer complete plans to migrate other company data, allowing users to start the next Monday on a new platform, with minimal impact on their productivity.
